YELLOW PERCH TOURNAMENT RULES:

1. DNR Rules Followed

2. Payout 35 Heaviest Fish per Person

3. $15 Registration Fees/Person

4. Payout Cash & Prizes Based on Entries

5. Fishing Times 7 a.m. until 1 p.m.

6. Weigh-In – Alternates by year.  See below:

A.  In odd number years (2015, 2017, etc.) by 3:00 p.m. deadline @ South Haven Moose Lodge.  Click HERE for directions.

B.  In even number years (2016, 2018, etc.) by 3:00 p.m. deadline @ Tackle Haven (741 Riverview Drive, Benton Harbor.

This is a Tri Chapter Tournament starting in 2015.

The Chapters include:  South Haven, Battle Creek and Southwest (Saint Joseph).  The weigh-in host location will alternate year to year between South Haven and Saint Joseph.  2015 South Haven, 2016 Saint Joseph.

Perch Parmesan Recipe

Ingredients:

2lbs perch filets
1tsp salt
1/2 cup salad oil
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 1/2 cup grated Parmesan chesse
1 cup finely sifted bread crumbs or fish batter

Directions: Combine oil, salt and garlic in small bowl. Place fish in oil mixture for 10 minutes. Remove from oil, drain and roll in grated cheese. Roll in bread crumbs and place in a single layer, skin side down, on a well greased cookie sheet 17×14″. Bake in oven 450 degrees for 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily. Garnish and enjoy.
